Silver status Baby !

January is 4 days old and i am now Silver Star status on the Pokerstars Frequent Player programme. Ive never really payed much attention to it before, probably because ive never really played there that much. It isnt the best value of reward programmes as Pokerstars offers no rakeback deals at all. However it is definitely the most comprehensive, details here: http://www.pokerstars.com/vip/tiers/ .
Everyone starts at Bronze and works there way up through Silver, Gold, Platinum, Supernova and Supernova Elite levels.
Points (FPPs) are gained through raked hands and to reach the highest levels requires incredible amount of play on the highest of tables !
However a few have reached Supernova Elite status and some have even bought a Porsche as one of there rewards using the FPPs !!
The FPP scheme rewards regular players and the higher you go in status the greater and faster you can earn more FPPs. So getting to Silver status now means i earn FPPs half as fast again. Im anticipating reaching the Gold Star status by Monday sometime and then I earn double FPPs. Platinum Star status ( if I stick it out ) should arrive sometime towards the 20th !

As far as my actual play goes it hasnt proved to be as successful as i had hoped ( predicted). I started with $650 on 1st and have basically gone up n down +/- $100 continuously , except for a little spell where i lost $208 in 40 minutes . So I am now sitting on $498, down $152 after 4 days hard graft!
It has been frustrating , every time i get a little run together and stack size goes up i suffer an equally poor run. I feel as though I am better than the game, but the figures are not indicating that and I will need to see how things go over the next 5 to 10 thousand hands.

But for the time being , just keep dealing.
